2021 update.
I hope this message finds you well.
I have exciting news on my creative professional front, as I have been invited to participate in a project: Collaborative Experimentation in Sound:An Institute of Speculative and Critical Inquiry at Fåbrica Braço de Prata Summer School, Lisbon Portugal, July 2021. This summer school is run by the University of Berkeley California, http://www.theisci.org/course6.html
My intention to attend this course is 100% confirmed, the program leaders Dr. David Grubbs (Professor of Music at Brooklyn College and The Graduate Center, CUNY). and Jan St. Werner, (Professor for Interactive Art and Dynamic Acoustic Research at the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg) have selected me for this course based on the merits of my work as an artist and educator, to join a small cohort of 10 or so artist from around the globe to participate in what will be a very interesting and focused week long conference for specialists, post-graduates, theorists, musicians, writers and teachers working in the field of music and multimedia art. To support this project, I am fortunate to have the backing of The Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi. The Arts Foundation exists to back artists of Aotearoa to make their mark, amplifying our voices and offering funding support in various ways. The organization has set up a crowdfunding platform www.boosted.org.nz Boosted is an all-or-nothing platform that connects creatives with their crowd of supporters to fund creative projects.
So it is through this platform that I am seeking patrons, sponsors, donors to support me in this project.
My Boosted campaign to get me to Lisbon and get recording launches today and you can see the link here:

I have 70 days to meet my target of $6,000NZD (€3.500, USD$4200) through the generous support of multiple pledging patrons. The funds raised on Boosted will help cover my travel and transportation of equipment (Berlin to Lisbon), recording and post production costs for the album I am writing in development at the moment, which will be part of this project in collaborating and workshopping with the cohort in Lisbon. There is a fee for tuition and accomodation of €650 which is factored into my funding target as well.
Patrons are invited to subscribe to my weekly email newsletter, where I will be posting a diary, interviews, photos, video and of course sounds and playlists of my weekly round-up music selections made in the process leading up to and running through the duration.
